Combining afternoon tea with millinery craft workshops, in association with our sister company
Clara Bows.
Our Fascinator Workshops introduce you to the skills and techniques involved in producing these elegant fashion accessories.
The goal of the workshop
is for you to make your own unique fascinator or cocktail hat in a fun and relaxed group setting, tutored and guided through the creative process by experienced milliner Vicky Rowe.
A great hen party idea
A half-day Fascinator Workshop makes a great hen party
theme, an idea for a birthday party activity, or simply as
the focus for a get-together
with a group of friends.
To complete the picture,
you can opt to include a scrumptious afternoon tea served on gorgeous vintage china that
will make it an
event of pure girlie indulgence!
No special skills required The workshops cater for all abilities, so whether you’ve never threaded a needle in your life or you’re sewing-mad we ensure that everyone gets the most out of the experience.
Further tuition We can also provide full-day workshops for those
who wish to learn more and take things on to
the next level. And if you want to explore more of what millinery has to offer then enquire about our
one-to-one hat-making courses and tuition.
Scheduled courses & private parties
Our Fascinator Workshops are run at some beautiful venues (for details see the PDF linked alongside) or
can be arranged as a private party at a location of your own choosing.
For private parties we do require a minimum of 6 people; if you can raise a party of 8 then the organiser goes free! We can accommodate larger groups too.
If it's not practical to raise a full party
then consider joining in with one of our
scheduled courses.
For group bookings you can select from a variety of workshop themes and packages that encompass a treasure trove of decorative items such as vintage brooches, fresh water pearls, beads, lace, Swarovski crystals, feathers, satin and velvet.
Prices start from only £49 per person which includes all materials for your own unique creation.
Our hen party workshops got a special write-up from the editor of
Cosmopolitan Bride in the June/July 2010 edition,

What is a fascinator?
Fascinators are a decorative accessory worn as an alternative to a hat.
Commonly assembled from any combination of feathers, flowers, beads and fine fabrics, they
attach to the hair by a clip, comb or band. Popular in past eras, the fascinator is now making
a strong comeback as an up-to-the-moment fashion accessory,
ideal for accessorising stylish
evening wear outfits. They offer a distinctive alternative to wearing a hat at any
formal occasion, including weddings.
